Jaw/Swage Bottlescrew Stainless for 4.0mm Wire Balustrade Kit #404
As low as$14.30
A slimline, strong 4mm wire balustrade system best suited for 10M+ runs features 2x M6 Jaw/Swage Bottlescrews, 2x M6 saddles and 10G self tapping screws (or rivets if you require) to fasten to timber posts or metal posts.
This popular stainless balustrade kit features 2x M6 Jaw & Swage Bottlescrews for 4mm wireM6 Saddles (also called Wire Eye Straps) and 10G Self Tapping Stainless Steel Screws (or Stainless Rivets as preferred). Bottlescrews at each end of the wire run gives better tension capability and flexibility.
Suitable for 4mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 is smoother and more aesthetically pleasing than 7x7 or 7x19.
All in stainless steel 316, these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping, such as with our 8T Heavy Duty Hydraulic Swaging Tool, or with our in house factory swaging service. A 30T hydraulic swaging press tool is also available for hire (Melbourne only), or for purchase from our website.
Also recommended is the multi-spanner tool to simply and easily tension the M6 bottlescrews.
