This handy stainless wire balustrade kit is used for staircase runs between metals posts, or where angles are required. Includes an M6 x 4.0mm Jaw & Swage Bottlescrew, an M6 x 4.0mm Fork Terminal and 2qty M6 Mini Eye Bolts.
This handy stainless wire balustrade kit is used for staircase runs between metals posts, or where angles are required. Features an M6 x 4.0mm Jaw & Swage Bottlescrew , M6 x 4.0mm Fork Terminal and two (2) M6 Mini Eye Bolts. As an option, you can add M6 Dome Nuts, which are useful to cap off the eye bolt if you have flat bar or thin posts/staunchions and want the thread the mini eye bolt the whole way though.
Suitable for 4.0mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 also has the least stretch over the same tension.
All in stainless steel 316, these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping. We have the hydraulic swaging tools available for purchase or hire (Melbourne only).
