Jaw/Swage Bottlescrew Stainless for 4.0mm Wire Balustrade Kit #403
As low as$10.90
Slimline DIY balustrade kit for 4mm wire rope, features an M6 Jaw/Swage Bottlescrew, an M6 Fork Terminal, 2x M6 saddles and 8G self tapping screws (or rivets if you require) to fasten to timber posts or metal posts.
This popular stainless balustrade kit features an M6 x 4mm Jaw & Swage Bottlescrew Turnbuckle, an M6 x 4mm Fork Terminal with both connected to timber posts with M6 Saddles (also called Wire Eye Straps) and 8G Self Tapping Stainless Steel Screws (or Rivets as preferred)
Suitable for 4mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 is smoother and more aesthetically pleasing than 7x7 or 7x19.
All in stainless steel 316, these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping, such as with our light duty hydraulic swaging tool, or with our in house factory swaging service. Hydraulic crimping tool is available for purchase from our website, or for hire (Melbourne only).
Also recommended is the multi-spanner tool to simply and easily tension the M6 bottlescrews.
4x 8G Countersunk Self Tapping Screws SS304 or Rivets
