This DIY wire balustrade kit is perfect for fixing 3.2mm stainless steel 316 wire rope (available from our website in 50M, 100M, 200M, 305M and 1000M reels) to timber posts.
The extra turnbuckle in this kit will create more tension in the wire and is therefore most suited to longer runs, such as more than 10 metres, between timber posts.
1x19 wire is unsuitable for looping around thimbles. A more flexible wire, either 7x7 (most common) or 7x19 must be used.
