A neat and slimline stainless steel balustrade kit for sections of wire spanning between timber posts. Comprises a Swage Stud Bottlescrew, Swage Stud Terminal and Threaded Timber Inserts. Hydraulic swaging required.
This stainless steel wire rope balustrade kit is very slimline, neat and aesthetically pleasing. The bottlescrew provides better tension capability for longer runs between timber posts, especially for 7-10 metres. This kit is for those who are looking to minimise balustrade wire fitting bulk.
Instructions
Pre-drill your 9.5mm post holes for the threaded timber inserts.
Drive the threaded timber inserts into the post with a 6mm hex drive bit.
Insert the wire rope into the swage stud terminal end and crimp using a hydraulic swaging tool. Do the same for the swage stud bottlescrew end.
Thread the swage stud terminal thread into the threaded timber insert. Do the same for the swage stud bottlescrew end. Thread with hands first and tension the swage stud bottlescrew with a bottlescrew spanner.
