A neat and slimline stainless steel balustrade kit for metal posts. You can tension the wire from either end using the swage stud bottlescrews. Only needs RHT rivnuts. Hydraulic swaging and rivnut tool (with M6 RHT mandrel) required.
Perfect for running wire between existing metal posts, this stainless steel wire rope balustrade kit is slimline, neat and aesthetically pleasing. This kit is for those who are looking to minimise balustrade wire fitting bulk, for 10M+ runs.
Instructions
Pre-drill your 9mm post holes for the rivet nuts.
Using a rivet nut tool, install the rivet nuts.
Cut your wire. Thread it through the intermediate posts.
Insert the wire rope into the swage stud bottlescrew end and crimp using a hydraulic swaging tool. Do the same for the other swage stud bottlescrew end.
Thread the swage stud terminal thread into the rivet nut. Do the same for the swage stud terminal end. Thread with hands first and tension the swage stud bottlescrew with a bottlescrew spanner.
